Beach weddings are slowly becoming very popular. You are seeing many couples opting for the romantic backdrop of the beach for their wedding. It is definitely a beautiful natural setting with the sound of soft waves and the sun setting in the distance.

Even if sand sticks on them or gets in between the toes, the bride can always shake the sand off. Slip-ons also tend to dry fast. So the bride doesn’t have to worry about her shoes getting spoilt or her feet getting messy.

The slip-ons come in so many colors. You need not stick to the usual white color. It is easy to experiment with slip-ons because they do not get too loud. The popular colors though include white, silver and gold. If the bride wants she can try and match the slip-ons to the rest of the wedding theme say a red colored or a green colored slip-on.

The slip-ons come in many different materials. You could stick to the bridal satin. But it is best to avoid leather. One reason being they will not dry fast if they get wet. Another reason is that leather tends to be heavier than other material. This could cause discomfort while walking on sand.

Synthetic leather is a good option. They are easy to accessorize. You can stitch or glue on your semi precious stones with ease on synthetic leather. They are perfect for the beach because they are waterproof.
Latest trends see the use of organic material like Abaca. They look great with their beige color. They give you that perfect natural look for the beach. The only problem with Abaca though is that they don’t dry fast if they get wet.

You have an option. Buy two pairs. One pair of your beach slip-ons in synthetic leather can be used when you go near the water and the other pair in the organic Abaca could be worn on the sand. It is a good idea to have 2 pairs on the beach. With sand and water being an integral part of a wedding on the beach it is always nice to carry an extra pair of shoes.
