Choose The Right Bridal Shoes

<
It is often seen that a bride to be spends so much deciding on her gown. She keeps thinking about what the color of her gown should be. She is thinking about what length her gown should be. Also she is trying to decide the style and the work on the gown. In the process she just might ignore a very important aspect of her attire – the shoes.

You might think a pair of shoes is not all that important. Nobody is going to see from under the gown. Well, people will get glimpses of your shoe from under the gown as you walk and dance around. But forget people, what about you? Yes, imagine a day spent in a pair of shoes that hurt and cut your feet. So take time to get yourself a good pair of shoes.

It is a good idea to buy your shoes months in advance, probably even before you get your gown. When your gown designer or stylist comes over to take measurements, make sure you are wearing your shoes. This way the correct length required for the gown can be taken.

There is another advantage of buying your shoes in advance. You get time to wear them and break in. This way you will have a comfortable pair of shoes on your wedding day, one in which you can walk around for hours. Also, if you aren’t used to wearing heels, you could practice walking around in them.

You can buy your shoes anywhere. You can get a good looking comfortable pair of bridal shoes from your local department store or wedding shop. You will be surprised at the variety available. Well, if you can afford designer shoes, maybe this is the time to go in for a designer pair of bridal shoes. You could choose a Jimmy Choo or a Vera Wang. You will find many comfortable, simple yet stylish shoes.

There are so many types of shoes you can choose from. One major decision will be whether to go in for a high heeled shoe or a low heeled one. Heels definitely make you look tall, elegant and slim. If you have always worn them nothing should keep you from choosing a pair of heeled shoes for your wedding.

But if you have never worn heels before or you aren’t comfortable wearing a pair of heels, it is best to forget the idea. Unless of course, you are ready to practice and perfect the art of walking on heels. There are many elegant designs and styles available in flat and low heeled shoes today. So you actually don’t have to compromise style over comfort.

If you can afford it probably you can go in for two pairs of shoes. One pair with heels for that elegant walk down the aisle. Once the wedding ceremony is over you could change into a low heel shoe. This way you could also be comfortable during the dance.

Make your choice according to your preference. You are the best judge.
